Antistatic Application – Ionization

Ionization process is applied in order to increase the surface quality of materials such as plastic, composite and glass.

Materials such as plastic, composite and glass are charged with static electricity during the production phase, so they stick the dust entering the gravitational field created by the static electricity to them. In this case, quality problems may occur in the painting process. In order to remove the gravitational field, antistatic bars and air are used to neutralize the material. By that way adhering dust is removed and dust adhesion is prevented.
